Proposed Development Of Koeberg Administrative Complex And Training Centre Campus
As you may be aware that Eskom Holdings Ltd (Eskom) is proposing to develop a new administrative complex and training centre campus at Koeberg, Cape Farm 34, Duynefontein. The proposed complex would accommodate most of the administrative functions of Koeberg and the Nuclear Portfolio offices of Eskom, while the training component would have its own offices. This development is important to ensure that there are necessary skills and resources to meet increase in the demand for nuclear energy in the near future.
Ninham Shand Consulting Services was appointed by Eskom to undertake the required Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for the proposed project.
Current Project Phase
The Final Environmental Impact Assessment Report (EIR) has been lodged in Melkbosstrand and Tableview Libraries from 15 September 2008.
